Like many my first business failed! I’m the one that always thought and knew I wanted to do something for myself. Since I love writing, I wanted to create my own creating card company. I started creating customize greeting cards, invitations, and birth announcements for people. I remember having a couple of clients at the time, but that business failed, but it was a necessary stepping stone I needed to make.
Have you ever considered where your life is headed? Are you going in the right direction? It doesn’t matter the age you are we all want a better life experience. Wished we could have done this or that when we were younger. You could be in your late 60s, just been forced to retire, or about to retire on your recognizance. You could be in your 40’s, 30’s, 20, or 18 years old, about to embark on your journey toward adulthood. You feel as stuck or lost as the other person in their 40s does, and you don’t know what is next for you.
Have you ever taken a moment to think about what you already accomplished before you start on your rant about what you don’t have, what you should do by now, and what somebody else already accomplished at your age? If you haven’t, take a moment now! We tend to focus on everything we don’t have because we want what we want. We see ourselves at a particular place, knowing damn well it is still all about our status.
When it comes to the American Dream what do we tell our kids? As parents, we tell our kids to study when they are about to take an exam. It’s not the end of the world, but if you want to get into the right college, those test scores might matter. What happens when you don’t test OK? What happens to the kid that keeps trying and trying to succeed but never seems to get there?
