WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU FEEL LIKE YOUR BEST IS NOT ENOUGH?

What do you do when you feel like your best is not enough? Do you say fuck it and move on, or do you down your sorrows, hoping to wish that successful person you admire or maybe even jealous of a little bit was you? You may need to understand a grander perspective and not dwell over it. You are enough, but they are other things that are going on that you are a part of that you don’t know about until it happens. Why dwell on what didn’t happen for you?

Think about it! When I tried living in North Carolina, how was I supposed to know that it wouldn’t work out? How was I supposed to know that after six months, a family member would pass away when I returned home, and I was going to help raise his child. I couldn’t stay in North Carolina because I was needed here. I didn’t know that because I was too focused on the turn of events during that period. My reasons for moving back to New York were that it was easy for me to find a job that I easily commute to by train, bus, or taxi cab without relying on anybody else. You need your own car in North Carolina, and I didn’t drive.

We get caught in the why this happened, why I didn’t get that Job? Why they didn’t choose me? Why did that let me go? Have you ever considered you weren’t chosen because you are needed elsewhere? You are unaware of other things at play; other things are destined to happen that involve you, so take some time to deal with your emotions but don’t linger in them. Get back to living!

We get angry, but if you just believe that you are needed elsewhere and focus on the positive because your time In your current position is over. You’ve grown, so now you need a new challenge. Changing your mindset the way you look at things allows you to stay positive instead of negative.

Remember what I said in the purpose video workshop? There are multiple ways for you to find and achieve your purpose. Your career map is the experience you collect as you work in & toward your purpose. Know that Life twists and turns are lessons that are needed for growth.

Doing your best is all about what you can or cannot tolerate, and it doesn’t have anything to do with anybody else because doing too much can make you burn out. We set ourselves up for failure when competing with others or setting a destructive standpoint against ourselves because something didn’t work out. STOP! Take a couple of minutes to deal with your feelings about what happened, but don’t linger there.

They didn’t see your value ─ F them! You are needed elsewhere!

Like people, we tend to make permanent fixtures out of temporary features. Somethings are not meant to last forever, just people you in a place to grow. Learn some things to go to the next stage of your life.

From the intelligent, beautiful lyanla Vanzant, “Your willingness to look at your darkness is what empowers you to change.” We all have this negative aspect that we wish wasn’t there, but life is about growth. The majority of times, we heavily linger in our emotions and refuse or don’t know how to pick ourselves back up!

We speak into existence our dreams and desires. Therefore, if you are focused on not being enough, you tell yourself, the universe, and God that you are not enough. So, that is what you are going to continuously experience. You create your own chaos by the decisions and choices we continuously make for ourselves.

Is your perspective working out for you? No, so fix it! Try something else for a change and keep trying different avenues to change your mindset to positive thinking. Take action, plant those seeds in the ground so they can grow.

  • Note that continuously complaining about a job tells the universe that you are not happy, so why are you surprised when you get that pink slip? Isn’t that what you wanted?
  • Understand that everything is not black or white. There is some middle ground that you are not probably looking at, but if you don’t have the power to fix it because you are not the one in charge, don’t worry about it! Move the hell on! You are needed elsewhere!
  • Stop condemning yourself if things haven’t worked out. You are pulling apart your self-esteem and confidence, and it is damaging to your mental health.
  • Don’t focus on the bad things that occur when you have a dozen things that went right. Enjoy the happy moments.
  • Don’t scare yourself into forecasting that things will go all wrong for you. Remember that you speak what you want into existence. Let that one occurrence be just that ─ Instead, think God for the save! You’re late for work because he just saved you from getting caught up in an accident on the highway. How many times did an accident occur, but because you were five minutes late and decided to take a different route, you missed it? Just think GOD, for the save and move on!

There is a reason for everything that happens in life, but we get caught up in what we don’t have or think we missed out on, but every opportunity isn’t a good opportunity for you. Think about that Job you took, and realize the morale in the office is so bad that people are leaving left and right. Or, you can chuck it up the opportunity that opened up and allowed you to take on another role to expand your skills because the morale was so bad. How you look at it is your choice.
